Sheila Enriquez, Audit shareholder at Briggs & Veselka, was awarded as “Women Who Mean Business 2017: Outstanding Leaders in Banking and Finance” by the Houston Business Journal last night.
“Sheila has been a difference-maker from the beginning,” said Lisa Shumate, associate vice president and general manager of Houston Public Media. “Enriquez is passionate about helping young CPAs become leaders in their respective organizations and is described as someone to watch because of her personal commitment to people, her firm, and the community,” said the Houston Business Journal.
After being elected by B&V’s Board of Directors, Sheila will assume the role of managing shareholder in October 2019, becoming the firm’s first female managing shareholder in its 44-year history. Congratulations Sheila!
