Briggs & Veselka Co., Houston’s largest independent accounting firm, welcomes Jason Liu, a seasoned U.S. and international audit professional as a partner in the firm’s audit department. Jason brings extensive experience in the biotech, manufacturing, and energy industries for both private and public companies based in the U.S., EMEA, and Asia Pacific.
Jason specializes in assisting clients with the process of going public whether through IPOs, reverse mergers, or private offerings, particularly for foreign entities wanting to register on U.S. exchanges. He has also consulted with clients in merger and acquisition transactions, from strategy to due diligence to integration.
“While I certainly knew about Briggs & Veselka through its tenure and market reputation, I witnessed firsthand the firm’s unique culture and entrepreneurial drive from working with a number of its partners on some shared clients,” said Jason. “It was a place that I thought I would fit into well,” he added.

Jason earned his MBA degree from the University of Houston and is licensed as an accountant in the state of Texas. He is an active member of the AICPA and the Texas Society of CPAs. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, Jason is also the former Director of the Asian Chamber of Commerce in Houston.
